Title: Assembly Operator

Responsibilities

  • Performs product assembly operations on complex components, assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing unpacking, component preparation, component installation and assembly of units.
  • Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines.
  • Provides hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
  • Open and unpack chassis and components to be used on the server assembly
  • Install/replace brackets, labels, etc/ Install small components/ Will need to use power screwdrivers
  • Capable of working on a standing position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with recycle

Job Title: Rack Cable Operator I

Location: Fremont, CA

Day shift: 6:45am-3:15pm/Swing shift: 3:45pm-12:15am        

Responsibilities:

  • Open and unpack chassis and components to be used for server assembly
  • Integration of computer parts into a chassis on a progressive line
  • Utilizing small hand tools to Install small screws and parts into a chassis, or install/replace brackets or labels
  • Assemble handles and affix switches and applying labels/ Packaging finished racks
  • Identify and label cables for rack specification using cable labeling machine
  • May be required to assist with recycling materials/ Any other tasks may be assigned

  • Utilizing small hand tools to Install/replace brackets, labels or other parts
  • Integration of computer parts into a chassis on a progressive line
  • Installing small screws and parts into a chassis and or rack
  • Assemble handles and affix switches and applying labels
  • Installation of rails to elevation on rack specifications
  • Cable racks and server components/Package completed server racks
  • Identify and label cables for rack specification/ May be required to assist with recycling materials
  • Assemblers will follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures for product

assembly operations

  • Any other tasks that may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period
  • Ability to work on ladders
  • Manual dexterity
  • Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
  • Communicate and can follow verbal and written directions
